The mouldless-vacuum-casting and the waterproof windings allows application in an environment with up to 100% air humidity and chemical aggressive atmosphere. The high thermal time-constant as well as the vertical and horizontal cooling ducts provide excellent cooling allowing high short time overload and full power handling capabilities even with IP 45 type protection.
Our dry-type transformer are especially designed to offer minimum combustion energy and are a perfect choice for installations where high personal safety is required.
All transformers are designed and manufactured according class H(180°C) and to the highest climatic, environmental, and fire specifications. They comply to climatic class "C2" (ambient temperature -25°C), environmental class "E2" (humidity up to 95% with high pollution) and fire behaviour class "F1" (self-extinguishable transformers without emission of opaque smoke). All transformer use halogen-free materials.
